March budget

layered tassel necklace, Forever 21, $8.77

simple ear cuff and triple lines with double chain ear cuff, etsy, $11.27
I've been craving new accessories, and I've already worn both the necklace and the simple ear cuff multiple times.

Born Jassie gladiator sandals, Ross clearance, $27.99*
I've always wanted a pair of gladiator-style sandals. It will be fun to find ways to style them.

BCBG MaxAzria silk dress, $6, Savers
Banana Republic striped dress, $10, Savers
Dana Buchman top, $6, Savers
I made a rare trip to Savers on a weekday, hoping to take advantage of their 40% off promotion on dresses. My trip paid off: I found a better-quality replacement for my favorite green dress (silk for $6, no less), and a lightweight, work-appropriate dress for hot weather. I also found a rather fanciful silk top with beading and an interesting neckline. No photos because they were all thrift-store rumpled, but I will be featuring them soon.

Total spent: $42.64* (I don't count shoes, because comfortable shoes are essential for work and I tend to stick to certain brands that are on the expensive side)
Budget: $50
Amount under: $7.36

  1. Ooo awesome goodies. I'm glad i didn't have an official budget last month. I would've destroyed it with my shopping.

  2. I think having a budget helps me stay focused vs. just buying _everything_ that catches my eye, but it can be frustrating to go over! Now I'm interested in seeing what lovely things you found last month ... :)
