Old Navy dress - $12.94: I bought this in both cream and navy, and I have to admit, I do love the navy one (surprise, surprise). However, I've just about decided to keep the cream dress. I think it will be fun to accessorize, and it would be a nice addition to my closet since I don't own any white/off-white dresses.
3 Forever 21 camisoles - $6: After about 5 years of almost weekly wear, my gray F21 camisole gave out, so I was happy to find replacements. XS is often hard to find in store, and not available online, so when I found the right size in 3 different colors (oatmeal, navy, and gray), I decided to buy.
heart earrings, from etsy seller artzish - $13 (including shipping): I had so much fun wearing Christmas earrings, that I decided to buy myself earrings for Valentine's Day, too! The great thing about these earrings are that they can be worn year-round as well.
Old Navy red suede belt, $5.99 - seen here.
Total: $37.93
Budget: $50
Money left over: $12.07
I'm pretty happy that I came in under budget this month, and that all of the things I bought are either essentials (the camisoles) or items that I believe will be well used (dress, belt and earrings). I'm also excited about linking up with Fran's Budgeting Bloggers for the first time!
Ooh, someone whose budget is very close to mine! For everyday layering camisoles, have you ever tried Express? I like that the material's thick enough to provide good coverage, and that they come in so many colors (constant and some seasonal ones that change). They also have the full range of sizes pretty much constantly in stock, at least at the stores over here, they do.
ReplyDeleteThose heart earrings are cute :) Forever 21 is always great for some basics at good prices.
