This shirt's print always makes me think of river rocks, for some reason. While Dotty of dash dot dotty pulls off gray splendidly, sometimes I feel that it's a bit drab on me. The solution? Add a hint of color with a necklace and stack of bracelets.
Today I'm off to the mini golf course for a field trip with the 3rd-graders at my practicum site. Their science unit focuses on simple machines, and the culminating activity is that they'll be constructing a mini golf course that incorporates pulleys, wheels and axles, wedges, and screw. Wish me luck - when I play mini golf, my ball tends to fly into the water, never to be seen again.
You have such a great eye for print. Another fab blouse!

Thanks! The problem is that my closet is missing some nice basic tops in solids - I get so distracted by a great print. Evidence: I own 3 printed maxi dresses, 0 solid-colored ones. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a super cute blouse and looks great on you! ;-) Thank you so much for taking a moment to stop by and say hello. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean about it looking like river rocks, the gray pattern does have a very rockish look! (The little shimmer is really lovely.) I think gray looks quite lovely on you, you have such gorgeous skin. And I love your jewelry, the bracelets are really cute.
ReplyDeleteLove that blouse - it looks so pretty on you!
