sparkles and flowers

When I got fitted for contacts about a month ago, one of the first things I thought was: "YAY! I can buy some cute headbands and inexpensive non-prescription sunglasses!" (It's hard to wear a headband and glasses, at least for me, because the earpieces compete for the same head space.) I've enlisted the husband to help me search for the sunglasses, but the headband above caught my eye on etsy. Sarah of HanamiGallery makes the most gorgeous Japanese hair ornaments -- I bought a hair comb for me and hairpins for my sis for my wedding.

Now comes the hard part: waiting excitedly for my new headband to arrive in the mail! :)

  3. Thanks, Rebekah! Now I just have to remember to actually wear my contacts ... I'm still so used to glasses, I often forget to put them on. :)

  6. Patricia - this headband is actually a stretchy elastic band, so I hope it's really comfortable compared to the ones made of hard plastic. :)

  7. Thanks, Kat! I think the goal was to make my hair look interesting from every angle, because depending on the kind of ceremony, people end up looking at the side or back of your head for a while! ;)
