Blogging has helped me learn to love statement jewelry, but I always come back to simple, understated pieces. I'm thinking about getting myself some kind of ring to celebrate graduating (uh, yes, I know I should put that etsy-browsing time to better use by perhaps preparing for my oral exam ;) ). I like the idea of getting myself a little something as a reminder of accomplishments. When I earned my black belt in aikido, I got my ear cartilage pierced. I really like that I have a tangible, physical reminder of something I've achieved. However, since I'm not interested in putting any more holes in myself, here are some rings that have caught my eye:
