happy Monday, vol. 35

3 things that are making me happy lately ...
1. My sis is home! Let the eating and catch-up time commence. :)

 Hope grows

2. I'm holding my first giveaway, and am so excited to promote and support the amazing Haitian artisans who craft these necklaces and bracelets by hand. Bonus: an amazing, inspiring and eloquent interview with an old friend, Dorina Lazo Gilmore. Please enter: I've got one necklace and two bracelets up for grabs for three lucky folks! And if you feel inspired to do some Christmas shopping with, that would be a great way to support a worthy cause and get some pretty jewelry at the same time. That's what I call a win-win. Giveaway ends Friday, Dec. 21, so hop over to the post and enter! :)
3.  Baskin-Robbins chocolate peanut butter ice cream cake. Yum. I'm sure the day will come when my metabolism won't be up to handling such decadence, but until that day -- I'll enjoy every bite. :)

What's making you happy today?

  1. omg, that baskin robbins cake used to be a staple for all of our b'days growing up
    it is utterly delish!!
    have fun with your sis

  2. How fun to have your sister back home! (My little sister just got back from school, so we get too see her for two weeks during Christmas break which is wonderful, we all missed her so much.)
Yeesss, ice cream! I don't know why, but it always seems to taste so much better during the wintertime, we go through way too much of it. :P

  3. Enjoy your time with your sister! And mmm peanut butter ice cream cake?! Sounds amazing.

  4. Thanks, Megan! We're having lots of fun. :)

  5. Thanks, Katie! :) I hope you are enjoying your family time!

I've heard that Alaska has the highest per-capita consumption of ice cream ... :)

  6. Thanks, Brett! I know lots of folks like Cold Stone but to me Baskin Robbins has way more flavor. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love comments, so please leave one if you like. :)
