rayon-linen top, Old Navy (pink cotton)
beach INC linen shorts, Macy's (Old Navy's version has cotton)
Banana Republic cardigan, passed down from Mom
Carole necklace, Nordstrom Rack clearance (this one is cute, too!)
Oia Jules bracelet, giveaway win
And before you go, let me sing the praises of these linen shorts for you: a) great length and fit = not too short or too long, not too tight or too loose; b) linen = cool; c) pull-on waist = comfy and lots of room for that Greek pizza; d) black, so even though they're made out of wrinkly linen, the wrinkles are harder to see.
Too long straps are my bane as well!
ReplyDeleteI really like your top and I think the gold sandals also look great with this look.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't found out how to post a comment properly when not using Disqus.
ReplyDeleteShort skirt and a long necklace is a good match.
While trying to catch up, or is it ketchup? I've found this outfit:

Those colors! I am a color-nut. Teal is a killer.
I've been reading The Stand by S. King. It's 1200 pages long. I've been reading it forever and it seems that the end is not any closer. Who can write 1200 pages and who knows how many words just for one book to start with? To enter that many words makes me think of Carpal tunnel syndrome.
The picture of malasadas is pure torture for me. I can't just go and get some. Luckily, we make a version of the stuff that is pretty close both for texture and taste. I say "we", but when I wan't to make some it's "I". It's such a pain to make, frying it in oil for one thing, that I'd rather stare at your picture and feel sorry for myself.
"Hoarders". :)

I was so excited that knotting these straps fixed the problem, that I tried it on some other shirts ... but it only works on straps that have just a bit of stretch. :( Well, at least this one is wearable now. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the "ketchup," Maria. :) Hmm, I don't know if there's any way to get around Disqus ... I think once it's installed, it takes the place of the Blogger comment system.
ReplyDeleteTeal is one of my favorite colors.
I have not read a King book in ages, but yes, I think he needs an editor. There is beauty in brevity!
You need to come back to Hawaii so we can meet up at Leonard's!! :)
