3 things that are making me happy lately ...
1. Last week, my sewing machine ousted my computer. I love Internet time, but I really had fun rediscovering how much I like to sew.
2. This song. And yes, I first got interested in this group because their song Flightless Bird, American Mouth was
in the Twilight movie, and I thought it was beautiful. The movie was a
cheesefest, but I was doing some remedial movie watching ... I usually
read the books and never see the movies (Harry Potter is another one
that I've read in entirety and never seen in full).
3. I'm off to my practicum tomorrow! SO so excited to be back in an elementary school library. Also, I have to admit I'm excited about getting to dress all librarian-like for two days a week ... :)

ReplyDeleteI wish I could get back into sewing but I made such a mess of things when I tried back in high school and college that I really won't do more than sew back a button nowadays, haha.
ReplyDeleteLisa - I have to be in the right mindset to sew, so I know what you mean. :) You're ahead of some of my friends - some folks I know can't even figure out how to sew on a button. :)
