Necklace and striped skirt, Forever 21
2. Wearing my striped skirt on Saturday. I bought this around Christmastime, after last year's shopping ban ended and after I had spent several months eying this skirt enviously as it made its way around the blogosphere. Knowing it was made of knit fabric and clingy, I sized up when ordering from F21. Alas, knit skirts are just not work-appropriate on my shape, so this skirt hasn't been used as much as I hoped. The funny thing is, seeing me in stripes prompted the Mr. to point out how much he loves to see me wearing jewel tones and florals.
3. Getting a free light-desserts cookbook (our afterschool cooking program wrapped up and the coordinator generously gave us a copy) and having the time and inclination to give some of the recipes a test run. :) I'm not into baking with Splenda, but I am open to using agave syrup or maple syrup instead. Lighter desserts = dessert everyday, right? :)
Happy Monday! What's making you happy today? I'd love to hear! :)
nice monochrome outfit, looks lovely with a statement metallic robe necklace. I think the knitted skirt looks nice on you! I like knitted skirt except it keeps slipping up my hips so I have to keep pulling it down.

Thank you, mongs! I've been into black-and-white lately - it's so simple and classic. :)
