Everyone's going full blast CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS, but for procrastinators like me - Halloween was just yesterday, and Thanksgiving two minutes ago. ;)
Maxi dress and tank, Macy's
Maxi dress = festive tent to hide how much I ate at lunch.
Hairstyle = Jen from Librarian for Life Style made this twisty hairstyle look so easy, I decided to try it out!
Welcome fellow procrastinator! I think it would be better to call us thinkers. I tend to think a lot, so for me the time lapse between thinking and action is different from those of non-procrastinators. I also tend to think a lot about procrastinating before I actually procrastinate. It always works.
Really nice look with the hair! The twist reminds me of a pastry. I've been down with the flue for weeks and just coming out of it. Honestly, I do not like the Xmas season. I wish I could escape to a land far, far away where no Xmas is celebrated and come back when it's all over. It's sheer madness.
Maria - hope you are back to 100% very soon! Ugh, the flu is the worst.
Hmm, I like the idea of being a "thinker" vs. a procrastinator. I did figure out this semester, however, that I need to start the thinking earlier ...my ideas take a while to develop. I guess my brain is more like a slow-cooker than a stir-frying wok, haha. :) I do like some things about Christmas, but I see what you mean. It can be a crazy and trying time.
Jen - this hairstyle is so easy even I can do it, and it looks great! What's not to love? :) I did take a look at the original, and I don't think I can get all of my hair into the twist ... but it's great for just pulling back some of my hair. :)
I agree, I've had fun with trying it out in different ways, too... sometimes with just one side twisted back just off my face; one side twisted back and then pulled back into a ponytail; and then, like today, I went for the whole shebang! Such a versatile, fun hairstyle :)
you look lovely- I love the maxi dress, and the hairstyle is super cute :)
ReplyDeleteI love the hairstyle :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kat! :)
