happy Monday, vol. 11

3 things that are making me happy lately ...
1. Peanut butter and ice cream. Yes, the Mr. and I saw this Jim Gaffigan video and decided to try it ...

2. Possibly free pancakes. I ordered an omelet for Father's Day lunch (I think breakfast food is great any time of the day) and when I was almost finished with my omelet, the waitress showed up with a small plate of pancakes, saying that it came with my order but took a long time. This is strange for two reasons: a) I usually get the omelet, but this is the first time I got a side of pancakes, and b) pancakes don't take that long to cook. Anyhow, I am happy to get an extra side of carbs, so I took it without complaint ...
3. Being ahead (for once) on my Try-it-out Tuesday posts! Photos for next week are already taken. :)

  1. Peanut butter and ice cream sound so good together! I agree, you can have breakfast anytime of the day. I had blueberry pancakes for dinner the other day :)

  7. Pancakes are good with everything. I've totally been weird and used pancakes as the bread portion of a sandwich before. Good too.

  8. How strange the pancakes appeared! But really, who could say no to pancakes?
